Interspectral, a leading SaaS provider specializing in AI-driven quality assurance and process monitoring, is thrilled to announce an investment. This latest round of investment was led by Navigare Ventures, a prominent Swedish investor in industrial innovation and deep tech, and wholly owned subsidiary of Wallenberg Investments, with strong support from existing shareholders, including Skagerack Ventures. This strategic investment will accelerate the growth and development of Interspectral’s digital twin solutions, which are transforming the landscape of smart manufacturing in Industry 4.0, with a special focus on enhancing metal additive manufacturing aka 3D printing.

“We are delighted to partner with Interspectral as they continue to lead the way in AI-driven quality assurance and process monitoring for additive manufacturing,” said Salla Franzén, Investment Manager at Navigare Ventures. Franzén, who will also join Interspectral’s board of directors, brings deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence to the team.  “Interspectral’s proficiency in developing advanced visualization tools, AI-based algorithms for automatic error detection and efficient big data management is unparalleled. Together, we can accelerate the adoption of digital twins and revolutionize manufacturing on a global scale.”

Interspectral is part of the acceleration program Swedish Scaleups, which is run by Linköping Science Park, Create, Inkubera, and Uppsala Innovation Center. During Interspectral’s participation in Swedish Scaleups, they received support from our business coach, Jan Abrahamsson.

“Interspectral is a part of the Swedish Scaleups program since the late autumn of 2023. We have supported them throughout the entire investment process, which makes it especially gratifying to see that this has resulted in the current investment from Navigare Ventures, summarizes Jan.”

The investment will enable Interspectral to scale its operations, expand R&D, and bring its AI-based technologies to the global market. It will also boost the adoption of digital twin solutions, driving Industry 4.0 growth and advancing additive manufacturing capabilities.

“This investment is a major endorsement of our vision and technology. It will allow us to make significant strides in enhancing the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of digital manufacturing said Interspectral’s CEO, Isabelle Hachette. “The infusion of capital will allow us to push the boundaries of what’s possible with AI and digital twin technology, with the enormous potential for our solutions to redefine manufacturing excellence in metal AM.”
